Goldcreek Pond Engagement Session
To say we are freaking out about Courtney and Brady’s Goldcreek Pond Engagement Session would be an understatement. They knew they wanted their engagement photos in the snow, which we love. And while the original location was Leavenworth, the roads there we closed due to a major snowstorm we had the week leading up to their session. So we chose to go to Goldcreek Pond instead! Check out their photos and video and their love story below:
Their Adventure during the winter
We got up early to make it up the mountain before there were too many people. We arrived with snowshoe gear in hand and make the 1 hour trek into the Goldcreek Pond Park. Did we mention we showshoed in? We are now snowshoe pros and can’t wait for next snow season already to be able to do more adventure sessions with our snow gear this coming year! The views from their session location? Straight out of a Christmas card! Like, seriously, can’t you just imagine a perfect little winter home surrounded by snow in an area like this? Just us? We didn’t think so!
They met during Driver’s ed in highschool, but didn’t date until over a year later. Their story just melts our hearts you guys! They continued dating through college even though they literally went to colleges hours away from one another, Courtney never missed a home Husky game were Brady was in the marching band for. They both got accepted for post-grad school down in Seattle so that’s when long distance became not so long anymore.
Their proposal was so dang well thought out. They take trips over to Leavenworth and Lake Chelan often through the year, and Brady knew that he had to propose in her favorite month of October at either their favorite winery in Chelan or their favorite pumpkin patch in Leavenworth. He chose the pumpkin patch route because he just knew it was the more perfect place out of the two. While out in the pumpkin patch, he found the perfect little pumpkin, wrote “will you marry me” with a sharpie on it, and called her over. When she got there he showed her the pumpkin and got down on one knee! Obviously, she said yes because here we are blogging their epic engagement session today!
We are just so dang excited for their wedding this coming October at the gorgeous Hidden Meadows in Snohomish! It’s going to be one to go down in the record books we can already tell!
