Their Wedding at the Port of Anacortes
We arrived a few minutes before Kayla to scout around their venue, The Port of Anacortes, and take in all the details and the lay of the land since it was our first time capturing a wedding here! And call us impressed! The venue is basically a blank canvas! You could literally turn it into any theme you could think of!
Well Kayla and Johnny decided on a super classy black and white and greenery theme! And you know us, that’s one color pallet we are a total sucker for! We loved that Kayla’s family owns a nursery so they brought in a lot of the plants straight from there. It totally brought the outside in and warmed the space on another level!
The Moments
Their first look was all to sweet, I think if it were possible Johnny would have had those funny heart eyes like an old Looney Toons cartoon! And we had fun driving them back to their venue to get the party started after portraits. And don’t get me started on how beautiful their ceremony was. But what REALLY got basically every one at the wedding including me, Rebecca to tear up, was that father daughter dance! When dad has to make a graceful exit out the back door because he was tearing up so much the whole wedding basically got choked up! And then there was the sexy and fun dance the bride and groom did to the original Desposito song! Like freaken KILLLLLED it!
Their Portraits overlooking the sound where we popped champagne to celebrate their wedding are only second best to their golden hour photos. They BLOW US AWAY.
